This bug is assigned to both packages. If you, the maintainers of the two packages in question, have agreed on which of the packages will resolve the problem please reassign the bug to that package.
Thanks, Ralf, for spotting and reporting this!python-scientific maintainers: As your package seems to mainly be a library, would it perhaps make sense to install your task_manager only as an example file?
Or if not, would it maybe make sense to ship it in a separate package (e.g. scientific-utils) which python-scientific either suggests or recommends, so that the impact of a conflict is minimized?
