libsndfile came up for adoption earlier this week and since I am the upstream developer I filed an ITA. I have a day off work on Friday and intend to put a good number of hours into libsndfile on Debian. One of the first things I will be doing is to make testsuite failures a fail to build. I am also trying to get access to a MIPS or MIPSEL machine which has been proving difficult. I'm going to try running up a Debian MIPS image under QEMU. Failing that I will spending some time hacking with a DD and he's going to see if he can get access to one of the Debian porter machines.
