http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~openerp/openobject-server/trunk/revision/1826 revision 1826 changed 4 files in the openobject server, one of the changes (convert.py) does appear to have made it into 5.0.3 but the others didn't. This change removes the code dependency on python-xml and uses python-lxm. I have semi-automatically applied the 1826 diff to my installation and it now works fine. I can create a diff against 5.0.3 unless a new cut from upstream is imminent.
