During a new installation using D-I of testing today I got:
/usr/sbin/grub-install: 400: cmp: not found
cmp is from the recently renamed diffutils, which is no longer required
and essential and thus cmp can no longer be relied on to be available.
The only strange thing here is that the new pakage has not yet migrated to
testing, but I guess the overrides have already been changed (which are
the same for unstable and testing).

Hi,
closing this bug because diffutils is in testing now.
Cheers,
