bitlbee-skype is still FTBFSing on several architectures due to a lack of -fPIC; could you please ensure that that flag actually makes it to the compiler? (Please do so unconditionally; it's best practice even on architectures that don't strictly require it, and attempting to conditionalize it makes the build system somewhat more fragile.)
