I've prepared a python-imaging package fixing the FTBFS, also making it build against Tcl/Tk 8.5, which should solve any issues you guys are encountering. It's been uploaded to DELAYED/1 to leave one more chance to the maintainer to reply to the bug reports if he wishes to do so. The fixed package should consequently appear within 48 hours on your favorite mirrors, provided there's no additional surprises on the buildd side. You're welcome to close those bugs if the upgrade fixes them as expected, and to Cc me anyway if you have questions, if you're still experiencing any troubles, etc. Mraw, KiBi.
