I think you have run into bug #542551 <http://bugs.debian.org/542551> which apparently affects many older SMP systems. This will be fixed in 2.6.31 and probably in an update to 2.6.30. Ben. -- Ben Hutchings If at first you don't succeed, you're doing about average.
