I tried again in a cowbuilder, and again the dependencies are fine... sudo cowbuilder --build haskell-edison-api_1.2.1-11.dsc [..] $ dpkg -I libghc6-edison-api-dev_1.2.1-11_amd64.deb|grep Depends Depends: ghc6 (>= 6.10.4-1), ghc6 (<< 6.10.4+), libghc6-mtl-dev (>= 1.1.0.2-7+b1), libghc6-mtl-dev (<< 1.1.0.2+), libc6 (>= 2.3.3), libffi5 (>= 3.0.4), libgmp3c2 Not sure if the cowbuilder is fully up-to-date, though, I think I stopped updating around the dash switch in Debian, as is broke then.
