You are right in that the g++ ABI transition path is now clear, but another semi-showstopper related to apt 0.6 transition turned up yesterday (see #320827). In my opinion doing a crippled upload is not well justified (the point of apt-move is that local cache should be used whenever possible), and I prefer delaying the upload until we solve #320827 as well.
