Hi again,
Any news on this bug? It's pretty annoying for me to have a broken package
in unstable (this hit me on the middle of a library transition). Also, I
think util-linux is suffering from the same problem (slang transition) and
it's Essential :)
If you don't think glibc 2.3.5 isn't ready/stable yet, maybe you could
backport gcc4 bugs to 2.3.2. It's almost a month since gcc-4.0 became the
default compiler for sid.
