Package: amap
Version: 5.2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hi!
$ amap some.host 22
Error: can not open trigger file: /usr/local/etc/appdefs.trig
$

Something must have went wrong when building the debian-package.
If you download the source package with apt-get source amap and
compile it, it installs (to --prefix=/usr) and runs just fine.

Quick and dirty fix:
$ cp /usr/share/amap/appdefs.* /usr/local/etc/

HTH, J"o!

The amap package has been removed from Debian so we are closing
the bugs that were still opened against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/381185 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.

Kind regards,
