I am intimately familiar with those as I used to work for Artec. It could be a good idea to ask Artec for a BIOS update, since there were some stability issues with the BIOS that shipped with those preproduction DBE62D-700. Those were fixed during the development cycle of the similar upcoming DBE63 model. > The chroot is up to date (last lenny packages), geode driver is the last one > fom backports.org (2.11.1-1~bpo50+1), > but previous packages were freezing the system also. Since the DBE62 can boot from USB, you should be able to use 'reportbug' after booting from a minimal OS running off a USB device. If you have all relevant debug packages installed and use 'reportbug' it will automatically attach useful debuging info which we could use to check what happens.
