Package: joystick
Version: 20051019-7
Severity: important

At upgrade, or by running dpkg --configure joystick, I get:

---8<---
Setting up joystick (20051019-7) ...
Restoring joystick calibration: no joysticks available failed!
invoke-rc.d: initscript joystick, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing joystick (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 joystick
--->8---

Fine, lets plug the gamepad to see if it can finish... then it
complains differently:

---8<---
Setting up joystick (20051019-7) ...
Restoring joystick calibration: no calibration data failed!
invoke-rc.d: initscript joystick, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing joystick (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 joystick
--->8---

The package is useful with this gamepad, jstest allows checking the
buttons and the axis, also I like to have some tools even if I do not
have the hardware "just now". Failing completly if no joystick is
found is a bit radical outcome, as well as failing if no need of
calibration (all axis in gamepad always start at 0 and go to max and
min correctly).
