I just installed it on the affected system, and I can fire up Evolution and
view S/MIME encrypted messages without crashing now.  I did a few other tests
to make sure the tasks I regularly perform still work -- and they do.

These packages solve the issue for me.

No worries, thank-you for getting the bug fixed.  Anything to keep me from
having to use Outlook. :-)
