Hi, I wonder what the status of this bug is? There has been no visible activity since 2009-06-24 (nearly one month) and this bug is blocking xcb-util from migrating to testing. This again makes xmonad and i3-wm crash when starting without any reasonable error message (because there is a bug in the current version in testing which is exposed now since libxcb migrated but not xcb-util). I needed to solve this problem for five different people now…
