Package: gnome-screensaver
Version: 2.26.1-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
i have the screen saver set to trigger after 1 min (have tried other
times too) it simply does not come on. it can be activated using the
panel applet and it works fine. problem is only that it does not come on
when the idle time is reached. the daemon is starting and running as
expected. i also ran it form a terminal after killing the 'original'
daemon as follows:
gnome-screensaver --no-daemon --debug
the screen saver again did not trigger. the result of the above is
below:

i wasn't really sure the best way to debug this one. please contact if
there is another way i can assist in debugging this. ...also, this was
noted just after i upgraded using testing gnome-screensaver (2.24.1-2
+b1) to 2.26.1-1.
thanks
