Package: ia32-libs Version: 2.7 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Howdy! Yesterday, I upgraded to libc6 et al 2.9-14. Upon doing so, ia32-libs becomes uninstallable, until libc6 is backed down to 2.9-13. Today's 2.9-15 libc6 release does not solve the problem. As a result, 32-bit ELF binaries cannot be built on amd64 unstable without pinning libc6 to 2.9-13. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ia32-libs depends on: ii dpkg 1.15.2 Debian package management system ii lib32asound2 1.0.20-2 shared library for ALSA applicatio ii lib32gcc1 1:4.4.0-6 GCC support library (32 bit Versio ii lib32ncurses5 5.7+20090523-1 shared libraries for terminal hand ii lib32stdc++6 4.4.0-6 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 (3 ii lib32z1 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-13 compression library - 32 bit runti ii libc6-i386 2.9-13 GNU C Library: 32bit shared librar ii lsb-release 3.2-22 Linux Standard Base version report ia32-libs recommends no packages.
