* The version was created while using checkinstall, so the extra numbering is mine. * apt-get source retrieved the following files : sitecopy_0.16.6-2.diff.gz, sitecopy_0.16.6-2.dsc So I assumed this would be for a 0.16.6-2 version * I'll try to get a hand on this unstable neon library. Thanks for the hint. (added entries for the unstable target in /etc/apt/sources.list) Installed libneon27-gnutls from unstable and sitecopy from testing. Checked that sitecopy works (with -d socket,ftp) -- successful * Yes I have used and am using reportbug. I didtn't to anything consciously to suppress dependency information, but I am reporting a bug for the first time. * I'll have to look at apt-doc again, I guess. I've used debian since 3.0.r1 before I re-installed from scratch this spring. I used an /etc/apt/preferences file to give the different targets a priority. I had no such file on my current setup.
