Package: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
I want to try the nouveau driver instead of the nv one so I'm following the instructions at http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/DebianInstall . However, attempting to install xserver-xorg-video-nouveau gives the message in the subject. Trying to "apt-get install libdrm-nouveau1" gives "The following packages have unmet dependencies: libdrm-nouveau1: Depends: libdrm2 (>= 2.4.11+git+20090519+f355ad8) but 2.4.9-2 is to be installed" . -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
