Package: argyll Version: 1.0.3+dfsg1-2 Followup-For: Bug #530544 The bug with the Argyll's dispwin does exist in the Debian package. Perhaps my initial report was a little unclear - apologies. Here's the sequence of events: (1) Installed Debian Argyll package. (2) Tried to profile my monitor but failed when I encountered an issue with colprof, for which I discovered there is an existing bug report (#524478). (3) Compiled Argyll source. (4) Tried to profile my monitor. Got past the colprof bug and successfully generated an .icc file. (5) dispwin failed when I tried to install the .icc file. Same X error whether using the newly compiled, Debian package, or Argyll-provided binary. (6) Same results as in (5) when repeating commands using an old profile generated on a previous 32-bit install of Ubuntu 8.04. (7) New information: I have found that the error occurs when using -I or -L options. The profile does load without error into the current display when using no option.
Perhaps this bug shouldn't be categorized as grave. I'll follow up with the upstream source. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
