"of course"... the conflict should be explicit in the dependencies,
shouldn't it?

It works after doing "rm -rf /usr/src/modules/nvidia*" and uninstalling
nvidia-kernel-source.

And concerning my "clean" chroot... the host /usr/src was mounted there!
