Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce it, so I will need some help from you side to understand what happens: - Could you please try to install again version 2.9.10 before it disappears from the mirrors to confirm iceweasel is working again. - What is your version of iceweasel and related packages? - Does it works as another user or by temporarily moving .firefox?
