Package: login
Version: 1:4.1.3-1
Severity: serious
Justification: Debian Policy 9.8

After the login upgrade (4.1.1-6 to 4.1.3-1), the backspace character is no longer properly handled in many programs. It seems that login does not setup terminals correctly:

$ stty
speed 38400 baud; line = 0;
erase = M-1; kill = ^Y;
-brkint -imaxbel iutf8
