please never file cross compiler issues as RC reports. we add all patches which keep the cross builds working, but failures in cross build should not hinder the normal debian packages. please do consider to build the cross packages from an explicit separate source (build-depending on the various toolchain -source packages). The -source packages do contain the packaging and patch files as well, so you still can use the debian patches that debian applies to the toolchain.
