Hi, the recent upload of VTK 5.2 bumped the SO version of the contained libs to 5.2. However, the package name does not reflect that change (stays libvtk5). For this reason rdepend package will be broken whenever VTK is updated, as the required library with SO version "5.0" are not available anymore (e.g. package fslview). IMHO, libvtk5 should become libvtk52, with the -dev package having a versioned dependency on it (see #520328) and allow to be installed alongside libvtk5.
