reassign 520328 libvtk5-dev retitle 520328 libvtk5-dev should have a versioned dependency on libvtk5
If libvtk5-dev is 5.2.1 but libvtk is only 5.0.4 (as seemed to happen with all the buildd builds of caret 5.6.1~dfsg.1-3 <http://packages.debian.org/source/unstable/caret>) then a broken symlink results. Such a broken situation should not be allowed by package dependencies.
