Package: amaya
Version: wx-9.53-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

When starting amaya, it aborts with the following error message:

The program 'amaya-wx' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 1094 error_code 8 request_code 146 minor_code 3)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

This package does not come from the Debian repository, but is one built by
upstream. Moreover, the version is over 2 years old, and I believe the bug
you hit has been fixed since. So please update your package, and if it
doesn't work, try to contact the actual package provider, because I have
no clue about how the package you have was built and can't fix it.
