I seem to be getting problems starting bouncy with python-opengl 3.0.0~b6-3 too, even though I'm not getting any errors, it just hangs there. Exactly the same system seems to work OK with python-opengl 3.0.0~b3-1, could you try with a previous version of python-opengl to see if it might be related?
