Oh yes. True.

Acutally I'm very sorry the JACK transition hit the C++ transition
(actually the C++ transition hit JACK since JACK started more than a week
earlier ;-).

I would have actually applied for a spot on the TODO list for etch but
IIRC someone said that "simple SONAME" changes don't have to be
allocated.
