Package: nvidia-glx
Version: 1.0.4496-2.1
Severity: normal

Every time I upgrade xlibmesa-gl-dev package it creates /usr/lib/libGL.so ->
libGL.so.1.2
link. Since /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2 is diverted by nvidia-glx package libGL.so
becomes a
dangling symlink.

In other words the proper (working) /usr/lib layout is the following:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:$ ll /usr/lib/libGL.so*
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           10 Aug 26 18:30 /usr/lib/libGL.so ->
libGL.so.1
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           17 Aug 27 10:55 /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 ->
libGL.so.1.0.4496
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root       420080 Aug 26 10:07
/usr/lib/libGL.so.1.0.4496

After xlibmesa-gl-dev package was installed I've got the following:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:$ ll /usr/lib/libGL.so*
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           12 Sep  1 13:08 /usr/lib/libGL.so ->
libGL.so.1.2
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           17 Aug 27 10:55 /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 ->
libGL.so.1.0.4496
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root       420080 Aug 26 10:07
/usr/lib/libGL.so.1.0.4496

If you believe the problem is with xlibmesa-gl-dev package please let me know
that so I could
reopen this bug against that package.
