Brandon, Thanks for your bug report. However I am unable to reproduce, with either XFCE nor via a vanilla CLI. In your subject you state it is broken under XFCE, why do you suspect XFCE as trash-cli is a CLI and doesn't use any GUI features at all and thus I suspect XFCE isn't the culprit.
