Package: arpack++
Severity: serious
Hi,
your reverse dependency arpack is about to be removed because its
license is not DFSG-free (see bug #491794).
This means that either your package needs to build / function without
this dependency or needs to be removed or moved to contrib/non-free.
In addition, it appears that some research is needed on whether the
licensing problems with arpack also apply to arpack++, i.e. whether the
contributions of the Rice University are indeed public domain.
Kind regards
T.
