Hi, as far as i see there was no security reason to remove this package.
The only other reason i could see is that there would be no possible upgrade path from 1.2.x to 1.4.x. Maybe someone can explain me? I think lenny without ocfs2 support at all is worse than having an outdated (but at least basically working!) version. Maybe version 1.4.x can be shipped in r1 then.
