Yes, this is your bug report. It seems that the bug is likely specific
to something about your setup, so we need more information to
(possibly) figure out what is going on.

As a first step, you could try

% mv .mozilla-thunderbird .mozilla-thunderbird.bak
% icedove

and see if you still have persistent crashes.

Also, as I mentioned in my last message, it would be helpful to know
what IMAP server you are connecting to.  I'm not aware of a simple way
to find that out within icedove, but it may be helpful to run

% telnet mailhost 143

and look at the greeting the server sends.
