Hi, the bug about starfighter has been open for two weeks, but more importantly, the discussion Miriam linked to is pretty scary w.r.t. whether we can distribute the stuff at all. Unless someone from the game team is very close to having a solution (i.e. an upload with the bad stuff removed and the starfighter still working), we should pull starfighter from at least testing and unstable until this is resolved.
