Package: qemu
Version: 0.9.1-6
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Hi,
At first, i make a report against qemu but the problem is maybe from
apt. Let's come to the facts, here is what happened :
* I had Etch with qemu
* I dist-upgraded to Lenny (all fine)
* I launch qemu => no disk info, no errors. Tried some others image
from Debian to msdos... the same. It doesn't crash, just
freeze before showing disks, like an infinite loop.
* Then (translated from french) :
~$ sudo apt-get remove qemu
[...]
The following packages will be removed:
qemu
~$ sudo apt-get remove qemu
The following packages will be installed :
libbrlapi0.5 libvdemgmt0 libvdeplug2 openbios-sparc vde2
Some other things :
* apt-get never complained about missing dependecies will installing
other packages
* no visible errors on qemu itself
* i a-g update everyday, and anyway when i upgraded i had no
warnings, and you can see that dependencies were already known.
Regards.
