Hi, I've now tried to build paraview 5 times with the proposed patch on sparc. 2 times package build succeeded, 3 other times it failed with different errors in different places. At this point I have no idea what makes the build non-deterministic. I don't think it's hardware issue, because I did not see any problems while building other packages.
