Package: freeciv Version: 2.0.1-1 Severity: critical Justification: breaks the whole system
I've been using the same kernel and the same desktop (Gnome) from several months ago, with uptimes of several weeks long (and the stops being caused either by me or by the electrical company). But now, I experience strange system crashes while playing Freeciv, and they only happen while playing, and not when otherwise using several hundreds of differents Sarge programs on Gnome. Every time I've started to play, I heard (after more or less time of continuous play) a bunch of harddisk noise, and when I tried to Alt-F1 or to run 'top' or to change directory to save the game or any other similar (kernel-related) task, it does not work and system becomes unusable and, thus, it must be hard-rebooted. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9Envite_27.01.05 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) (ignored: LC_ALL set to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Versions of packages freeciv depends on: ii freeciv-client-gtk [freeciv-c 2.0.1-1 Civilization turn based strategy g ii freeciv-server 2.0.1-1 Civilization turn based strategy g -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
