Hi Laurent, Thank you for your report. I could indeed reproduce the bug installing doc-base. According to the doc-base changelog [1], Section is a required field since March 2nd 2003. Oops! Fortunately this bug is *not* reproducable on sarge as the file was not properly installed in earlier versions.
Obviously the fix is trivial and will be uploaded soonish. Simply adding the following line in /usr/share/doc-base/alsaplayer-documentation will fix it: Section: Apps/Sound Bye, Paul 1. http://changelogs.debian.net/doc-base -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
