Hi, I tried to reproduce this bug with pbuilder and at my local environment and the package is now building fine.
I look at Danga::Socket and it looks like the watch_read func that was produce the fails did not change in the meantime when the bug is reported. Danga::Socet(wich provides watch_read) and even Perl did not have any change at that time, I could no investigate other dependencies.
