I am able to reproduce it with an etch image provided by Aurelien, both
running qemu inside GNOME (my usual WM), and inside icewm.

I tested both with versions 2.3.7-1 and 2.3.6-4. When it worked, I was
using 2.3.6-3 (but it might be unrelated), I couldn't confirm that going
back to 2.3.6-3 solves the problem.
