Hi, Although I do not believe this issue is RC (see e.g. Joey Hess' comments about that), the best way to quickest this dragging issue seems to just fulfill the maintainer's sponsorship request, which I've just did. I hope this gets us rid of this issue as soon as possible so we can move on.
