Package: udev Version: 0.124-3 Followup-For: Bug #491214 dmsetup 2:1.02.27-2 triggered this bug by having a GOTO without a corresponding LABEL. This caused udev rules to stop working entirely, which prevented udev from setting permissions for devices such as /dev/null, /dev/random, /dev/urandom, /dev/ptmx, and /dev/agpgart. This naturally caused numerous problems with many other programs on the system.
See bugs 491107 and 491114 (now fixed) for the dmsetup part of this problem. However, udev should not have broken so badly from this bug in dmsetup's udev configuration. - Josh Triplett -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
