It seems, hppa does not like this in the Makefile:
cc-library = $(shell echo 'int main () { return 0; }' |$(CC)
-l$(1:lib%=%) -o /dev/null -xc - > /dev/null 2>&1 && echo yes)
Using this, it fails when checking for libasound:
ifeq ($(call cc-library,libasound),yes)
I've asked on debian-hppa for help, so this issue hopefully should be
solved soon.
