Nobody reported that behaviour before, and the program works fine for me
(Lenny and Sid), so I tag this bug as unreproducible, at least for the
moment.

To me it seems as if your problem isn't caused by system-config-lvm
directly but by problems with gtk.

Are you using testing or unstable?
Are you using KDE, Gnome, or whatelse?
Please provide the output of 'dpkg -l | grep gtk' and 'dpkg -l | grep
python'.
I tag this bug as moreinfo, at least for the moment.
Feel free to remove this tag when sending the required information.

Since this is the first time I hear about a crash and since it's not the
usual case (unreproducible), I reduced the severity to normal.

Regards,
Philipp
