I believe the fix for this is to create a new tachyon architecture linux-base-thr that doesn't assume x86 and thus leaves off -m32.

I've placed a new source package that should fix this problem at <http://web.mit.edu/sage/export/tachyon_0.98~beta.dfsg-1.dsc>. I've not been able to test this because I don't have access to an s390 machine.

If convenient, I'd appreciate it if you would test it to see whether it now builds on s390 before I upload it.
