Package: fontconfig
Version: 2.3.1-2
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system

After upgrading fontconfig, X would not start on boot up.
gdm was failing to start with error "failsafe dialog failed"

tried dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig and it seg faulted on fc-cache (line
144 of the postinst)

ran fc-cache with the debug option and found the font files which caused
it.

removed them from /usr/X11R6/lib/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc

fc-cache again everything is back to normal...

don't know if this should be critical, but it sure was a pain in the @$$
