I've packaged up the most recent version of mypasswordsafe for ubuntu and put it in my ppa. Hopefully it will work on debian and you can test if it fixes this bug for you. It seems to work for ubuntu - the bug report is at https://bugs.launchpad.net/debian/+source/mypasswordsafe/+bug/199012
If you want to try it you can get the new version by adding the following lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/mishd/ubuntu hardy main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/mishd/ubuntu hardy main Just to note hear that I found two additional dependencies for the latest version of mypasswordsafe - x11proto-scrnsaver-dev and libxss-dev I hope this is useful and I haven't broken any debian/ubuntu etiquette.
