Close down Icedove, delete (or rename, if you're not feeling confident) the 'extensions.rdf' file from your profile and load Icedove again. It *should* pick up all of your extensions, including the new Iceowl.
Took me a while to figure that out. Not sure how it could be automated by the installer. -- Richard Wallman
