Just to keep you updated. So far it was decided not to treat this issue as a security problem. The user can crash their own xscreensavers, but there is no likely attack vendor for others. Thus, it is unlikely that this issue will get a CVE id. Of course, this is still a bug, which could warrant RC severity. Cheers Steffen
